How Copenhagen became a city where bikes outnumber cars

Copenhagen had 736,600 bicycles compared with just 132,200 cars in 2020, and bikes overtook cars on the city's roads back in 2016. Around 29% of all journeys in the Danish capital are now made by bicycle.
