Mahesh Bhupathi enters AITA election, questions state of Indian tennis

Former doubles world No.1 Mahesh Bhupathi has filed his nomination for the All India Tennis Association's Sportsperson of Outstanding Merit election, scheduled for November 7. He is among eight candidates, including Sania Mirza. Bhupathi pointed out that India returned from the Asian Games without a tennis medal for the first time in 40 years, asking 'Where are the players?'
