Bangladesh's green-courtyard factory wins RIBA International Prize

The Green Field Factory of Karupannya Rangpur Limited in Bangladesh, designed by Nakshabid Architects, was named winner of the RIBA International Prize on October 15. The seven-storey rug and textile factory in Rangpur reimagines industrial design with lawns, greenery and courtyards reminiscent of Bengal's old zamindari mansions, giving workers shared green spaces to relax in during breaks.
