Discord to make public server chats searchable online, raising concerns

Discord said that from December, messages in its public Discoverable Servers will start appearing in search engine results. The move covers servers that administrators have made eligible for its Server Discovery feature, over 63,000 of them, spanning gaming, fandoms, language learning and niche interests. Discord says it wants to help people find useful information, though some users have raised concerns.
