Kaante director Sanjay Gupta dies after head injury at Mumbai home

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, known for Kaante, Zinda and Shootout at Lokhandwala, died at his Mumbai home between Friday night and Saturday morning. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit said the cause was a head injury, though there is no official confirmation yet. An accidental death report has been filed at Versova police station, and police say no foul play is suspected so far.
