Prakash Raj lost films and ads over his politics, says wife Pony Verma

Actor Prakash Raj's wife Pony Verma says he has suffered professionally for his outspoken political views, losing several films and advertising deals. She said some producers backed off even after paying an advance, and he was banned in Telugu cinema multiple times. She recalled he was devastated after his friend, journalist Gauri Lankesh, was shot dead in 2017.
