Virgin Galactic unveils Apeiron, its first Delta-class spaceship

Virgin Galactic has revealed Apeiron, the first of its new Delta-class spacecraft, named through a public poll. Its launch has been delayed again: the lead spaceship's first commercial flight is now expected in early Q2 2027, with a second spaceship to follow in late Q2 or early Q3. The company cited extra time needed for avionics software testing.
