Oxford's Oriel College urged to cancel event with Jason Arday's accuser

Campaign groups, academics and alumni have signed an open letter urging Oxford's Oriel College to cancel a November 17 event featuring Nathan Cofnas, organised by a student group supporting Reform UK. Cofnas made unproven plagiarism accusations against Cambridge professor Jason Arday, who was found dead in August after resigning. Signatories say the event risks creating a hostile, exclusionary environment for students.
