Eight still missing after avalanche on Uttarakhand's Kedartal trek

A 12-member group left Gangotri for the Kedartal trek on October 27 and was due back on October 29, but snowfall, glacier movement and an avalanche blocked their route. Three porters and a cook have returned safely, while eight people, including guide Siddharth Rana and five trekkers from West Bengal, remain missing.
