Kuki-Zo Council threatens to pull MLAs out of Manipur government

The Kuki-Zo Council accused authorities of selective action over ethnic violence in Manipur and threatened to withdraw its MLAs from the state government. It also said it may ask armed groups under the Suspension of Operations pact to reconsider cooperation. The council repeated its demand for a separate Union Territory with a legislature for the community.
