Bangladesh's Green Field Factory shines at RIBA International Prize 2026

A factory in Rangpur, Bangladesh, has made its mark at the RIBA International Prize 2026. The Green Field Factory rethinks industrial architecture by borrowing from tradition, using courtyards, abundant greenery and shared spaces to create a more humane and inclusive place to work. Members of the RIBA jury and architects have praised how the design puts workers' comfort at its centre.
