SC cancels Anant Singh's bail, orders surrender by December 1

The Supreme Court has revoked the bail of Mokama MLA Anant Singh in the murder of his rival Dularchand Yadav and ordered him to surrender by December 1. Justices MM Sundresh and PB Varale faulted the Patna High Court for overlooking the crime's gravity and Singh's criminal record, and gave Bihar Police four months to finish the probe. Singh was recently expelled from the JD(U).
