OpenAI CEO Sam Altman says he sympathises with mathematicians struggling to keep up with months of AI-generated results from the company, but he has no plans to slow down. Altman said OpenAI has spent hundreds of millions of dollars on mathematics and hinted that it holds a stockpile of further discoveries that could be released in the future.
