Russell Brand tells court allegations turned friends against him

Russell Brand has told a London court that a documentary making allegations about his behaviour had a devastating effect, turning friends and colleagues against him. The 51-year-old entertainer began giving evidence at Southwark Crown Court as his defence opened. He faces three counts of rape, three of sexual assault and one of attempted indecent assault, all of which he denies.
