Anthropic files for Nasdaq listing, warns AI could pose existential risks

Claude maker Anthropic has filed for a US stock market listing on Nasdaq under the symbol ANT, and its valuation is expected to exceed SpaceX's. The filing shows first-half losses above $80.7 billion, revenue of $16.3 billion and $112.4 billion in cash. It also warns that advanced AI could pose catastrophic or existential risks without proper safeguards.
