India under no pressure to stop buying Russian oil, says Hardeep Puri

Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said India faces no pressure to stop purchasing Russian crude, adding that refiners will buy from whoever offers the most competitive price. Speaking at the 29th Energy Technology and Innovation Meet, he said such decisions are commercial, and noted buyers could turn to other suppliers such as the UAE after curbs on Rosneft and Lukoil.
