Planning to see koalas in Australia? Here's when to go

Koalas can be seen year-round across Australia, from Kangaroo Island to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Nishant Kashikar, Tourism Australia's country manager for India and the Gulf, says the cooler months from March to November are best for coastal trails and bushland walks. Early mornings and late afternoons are ideal, when koalas wake to forage for eucalyptus shoots.
