Man attacks Class 10 girl with chainsaw inside Andhra classroom

A 15-year-old Class 10 student was seriously injured when a man attacked her with a tree-cutting chainsaw inside her classroom at a Zilla Parishad high school in Rapthadu, Anantapur district, on Saturday morning before classes began. A classmate who tried to intervene was also hurt. The attacker fled; police have registered an attempt-to-murder case.
