IIM Bangalore and Axis Bank to set up Centre of Economics at new UG campus

Axis Bank and IIM Bangalore have signed an MoU to establish a Centre of Economics at the IIMB–Dorabji Tata School of Undergraduate Studies in Jigani, Bengaluru. The bank will fund construction and operations, along with faculty development, research and need- and merit-based scholarships. The centre will blend economics with quantitative and computational learning, data analysis and empirical research.
