IIMs, ISB and IISER Pune shift from AI bans to guided classroom use

Top Indian institutes are moving away from blanket AI bans towards controlled classroom use. IISER Pune, ISB, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore are reworking teaching and assessments so students use AI critically without losing independent thinking. At IISER Pune, AI is now allowed by default unless a teacher or PhD supervisor prohibits it in writing.
