Manipur CM says lasting peace impossible while gun culture persists

Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand said neither progress nor lasting peace is possible while a gun culture persists, during a visit to Sinai Camp, a Suspension of Operation militant camp in Kangpokpi district taken over by security forces. During the operation, 17 people impersonating registered cadres were found. He praised the CRPF's CoBRA unit and urged care to protect civilians.
