Arunachal CM says Siang dam won't be imposed on locals

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu assured residents the proposed 11,200-MW Siang Upper Multipurpose Project will not be imposed on them, saying only a pre-feasibility report is being prepared for now. A decision will follow only if it proves viable, after consulting people. He invited the Adi Bane Kebang youth wing and Adi Students' Union for talks.
