Over 1.05 lakh people bound over ahead of Andhra local body polls

Andhra Pradesh police have bound over 1,05,767 people and executed 2,726 pending non-bailable warrants ahead of urban local body elections, DGP Harish Kumar Gupta said. Between October 15 and 29, 261 election cases were filed and 107 people arrested. Seizures include ₹4.91 lakh cash, liquor worth ₹11.99 lakh and 495 kg of ganja.
