Maruti Suzuki crosses 50,000 electric vehicle exports

Maruti Suzuki India has exported more than 50,000 electric vehicles since starting overseas shipments in August 2025, selling to about 50 countries with Europe its biggest market. Citing SIAM data, the company said it made up nearly 93% of India's EV exports in April-September 2026. Its EVs, including the e Vitara and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella, are built only at its Hansalpur plant in Gujarat.
