Non-BS-VI vehicles from outside barred from Delhi from November 1

From November 1 to January 31, 2027, vehicles registered outside Delhi that do not meet BS-VI emission norms will be barred from entering the capital, as air quality turns poor. CNG, electric, emergency and essential-service vehicles are exempt. Officials estimate more than 10 lakh vehicles in Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad fall below the standard.
