'If there are direct flights, they will fly': MEA on India-Taiwan route

Asked about direct flights between India and Taiwan, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, 'If there are direct flights, they will fly.' The remark came after Pakistan barred Taiwanese airlines from its airspace, citing its One China policy. Since the weekend, several Taiwanese flights to Europe have been rerouted over Russia, avoiding India and Pakistan.
