Andhra Pradesh sanctions ₹9.86 crore to modernise de-addiction centres

Andhra Pradesh has released ₹9.86 crore to upgrade 16 drug de-addiction centres in government hospitals. The money will fund building renovation, modern furniture and equipment such as biofeedback machines, breath testers, ECG machines and monitors, plus digital systems. Hospitals in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Kadapa will become centres of excellence for advanced addiction treatment and rehabilitation.
