Akhilesh Yadav cheers UP council wins but bans victory rallies

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav congratulated workers on wins in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council polls but told them not to hold rallies or processions. He said the BJP could exploit any disturbance to tarnish the party before Assembly elections. The SP won the Varanasi and Agra teachers' seats, while the BJP had retained four of 11 seats so far.
