Ford's sub-$30,000 Fathom EV pickup will be able to power homes

Ford's Fathom electric pickup, arriving in 2027, will be the first EV from a US automaker priced under $30,000 that can send more than 10 kW of AC power to a home without a wall-mounted inverter, as one is built into the truck. Owners can store cheap off-peak power for later or run homes during outages using Ford's cheaper Home Power Station.
