Omar Abdullah reshuffles cabinet, Jammu plains left without minister

Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah reshuffled his cabinet, dropping Independent MLA Satish Sharma and inducting four National Conference MLAs from the Kashmir Valley: Ali Mohammad Sagar, Shameem Firdous, Mir Saifullah and Altaf Ahmad Wani. Seven of nine ministers now represent the Valley. The move, seen as consolidating NC's base against the PDP and BJP, has triggered dissent.
