RJD snatches Darbhanga council seat from BJP on second preferences

RJD candidate Anil Kumar Jha won Bihar's Darbhanga Graduates' legislative council seat by 450 votes after trailing BJP's Sarvesh Kumar in all 10 rounds of first-preference counting. Transferred second-preference votes from eliminated candidates, counted over about 60 hours, swung the result. The win takes the RJD's tally level with the BJP's two seats in these council polls.
