Bihar enforces 75% attendance, bars police housing in model schools

Bihar's education department has ordered strict enforcement of the 75% attendance rule at Saraswati Vidya Niketan model schools and said police housing should, as far as possible, not be arranged in them. The six-point directive also discourages using these schools as exam centres, seeks staff deputation where clerks are missing, and calls for special classes for Class 9 failures.
