Karnataka minister Jarkiholi says his SIR comments were misread

Karnataka minister Satish Jarkiholi said his remarks that seemed to endorse the state's Special Intensive Revision of voter rolls were misinterpreted, after the BJP used them to target Rahul Gandhi. He said his point was that an alleged BJP plan to delete Congress-backing voters using Form 7 was foiled, not that the SIR process itself was valid.
