OpenAI to merge ChatGPT's Chat and Work tabs on desktop

OpenAI has told users it will combine the Chat and Work tabs in the ChatGPT desktop app, starting with select users for feedback. Users will be able to bring in files and plugins and have ChatGPT build websites, create presentations or complete web tasks in one place. Codex stays separate, but both will now draw from a shared usage allowance.
