Mumbai Indians named IPL's most valuable team at $2.1 billion

Five-time champions Mumbai Indians are the IPL's most valuable franchise at $2.1 billion, a Sportico study says, ahead of RCB at $1.85 billion and CSK at $1.75 billion, with the league worth $17 billion. The Reliance-owned team, bought for $111.9 million in 2008, is now worth almost 19 times that and tops baseball's Detroit Tigers. Nike becomes its kit partner next year.
