Silver slips below Rs 2 lakh per kg for first time since Dec 2025

Silver fell below Rs 2 lakh per kg on MCX for the first time since December 2025, dropping to Rs 1,92,800 after losing about Rs 6,800 in one session. The metal is down 22.5% from its August peak and over 50% below January's record of Rs 4,20,048. Rising crude prices and rate-hike worries are weighing on prices.
