EPFO launches WhatsApp service to check PF balance and passbook

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation has launched WhatsApp-based services that let subscribers check their PF balance, view passbook details and see their latest five transactions. The service will also guide members through requirements under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana. Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced the facility at EPFO's 74th Foundation Day celebrations on Sunday.
