England cancer diagnoses top 1,000 a day, NHS figures show

Cancer diagnoses in England have reached a record high of more than 1,000 people a day, according to NHS figures. Experts said the health service is finding more cases but still missing targets for how quickly patients are diagnosed and treated, raising pressure on waiting-time performance.
