EU orders TikTok to fix harmful For You feed or face fines

The European Commission ordered TikTok to fix a For You feed it says pushes users into harmful rabbit holes they cannot easily leave, warning of fines. Regulators want the recommendation algorithm changed so it better protects users’ mental health and wellbeing across the EU.
