OpenAI launches GPT-6.1 Terra with lower costs and better coding

OpenAI has released GPT-6.1 Terra, the second model in its GPT-6.1 series after GPT-6.1 Sol, succeeding GPT-5.6 Terra. The company says it is better at computer-based tasks, drafting proposals, reading technical drawings and editing videos, and resists malicious prompts more strongly. It is available to Plus, Pro, Enterprise and Edu users, and via API at $1 per million input tokens.
