VW Group EV battery recall tops 85,000 as Audi Q4 e-tron added

Volkswagen Group's EV battery recall now exceeds 85,000 vehicles after 12,734 Audi Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron models were added globally. Earlier recalls covered ID.Buzz, ID.3, ID.4 and ID.7 models built in 2022-2025 and Cupra Born cars. As with the ID.4, affected owners are being told to limit charging to 80%.
